EGN's IRC channel is called "#egn" on the Gamesurge IRC network.

Please note the channel rules for #egn:

1. No spamming - say it once only.
2. Don't ask for admins.
3. No Caps, No colors, No bold, No underline.
4. Don't repeat yourself.
5. Don't Advertise! (insta-ban).

For those unsure what IRC is, the definition of IRC at Wikipedia:

"Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a form of real-time Internet chat or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group (many-to-many) communication in discussion forums called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication and data transfers via private message."

To chat on IRC, you need an IRC client. One of the most popular Windows IRC clients is mIRC, which can be downloaded freely from: www.mirc.com. Alternatively, you can use this unofficial EGN pre-configured version of mirc.
