Broadband

To be eligible for these plans, you must:

hold a validated EGN forum account
have a valid credit card to register
obtain an activation code using the selection below, and use it before 1st April 2009

It is also recommended that you (if you haven't done so already) create a Whirlpool forum account and register EFTel as your ISP (within the Broadband Choice system of Whirlpool).

* Speed represented in Download/Upload maximum capacity. Speed is not guarenteed due to other factors such as line quality.
^ When quota is used up, the connection is slowed (shaped) to 64kbps/64kbps. Offpeak quota is between 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM local time.

Plan Setups

There are several options available for plan setup. These are selected during registration, but are provided here for your own information. If you do not already have an ADSL device, it can be purchased from EFTel during the order process.

the EFTel Standard Form of Agreement applies,
come with 3 free email addresses and 1 free web hosting account,
1 MB (megabyte) is defined as 1,000,000 bytes for usage figures,
traffic is calculated by using the traffic-down figure only,
comes with a dynamic IP addresses,
are Layer 2 ADSL services, using PPP protocol via PPPoE or PPPoA to connect.
all plan costs include GST, are in AUD and are subject to change without notice.

To order the service, simply select your desired plan from the table above, and click the "Get an activation code" button. Provided you are logged into your EGN forum account, the system will then email you the activation code, which you can then use to apply for the service through register.eftel.com. Note: This is the only way of obtaining any of the EGN Broadband Plans.
